"साईं सभी की  माँ हैं, दीन-दुखियों और बेसहारों के आश्रयदाता हैं, जो उनकी शरण में जाकर आश्रय लेते हैं, उनके लिए वे कल्पतरु हैं, वे दीन-दुर्बल बेसहारों की  रक्षा कर उन्हें शीतल छाया प्रदान करते हैं" I    
Sai is a mother to all- refuge for all the helpless and fatigued, the support of those dependent on him, as is a tree to a creeper. He also gives a cool shade to those who are poor and helpless.
