Bus and lightening.. 

A bus full of passengers was travelling while suddenly the weather changed and there was a huge downpour and lightening all around. They could see that the lightening would appear to come towards the bus and then go elsewhere. After 2 or 3 instances, the driver stopped the bus about fifty feet away from a tree and said - 

"We have somebody in the bus whose death is a certainty today. Because of that person everybody else will also get killed. I want each person to go one-by-one and touch the tree trunk and come back. Whom so ever death is certain will get caught up by the lightening and will die. But everybody else will be saved". They had to force the 1st person to go and touch the tree and come back. He reluctantly got down from the bus and went and touched the tree. His heart leaped with joy when nothing happened and he was still alive. This continued for rest of the passengers who were all relieved when they touched the tree and nothing happened. When the last passengers turn came, everybody looked at him with accusing eyes. This passenger was also very afraid and reluctant. Everybody forced him to get down and go and touch the tree. With a fear of death, the last passenger walked to the tree and touched it. There was a huge sound of thunder and the lightening came down and hit the bus - yes the lightening hit the bus, and killed each and every passenger inside the bus. It was because of the presence of this last passenger that earlier, the entire bus was safe and the lightening could not strike the bus. Sometimes we try to take credit for our achievements, but this could also be because of a person right next to us. Look around you - Probably someone is there around you, in the form of Parents, spouse children, siblings, friends, etc, 

who are saving you From harm!

भगवती जगदम्बा पूजा

१--प्रतिपदा तुथी में भगवती जगदम्बा की गोघृत से पूजा होनी चाहिये! अर्थात षोडशोपचार से पूजन करके नैवेद्य के रूप में उन्हें गाय का घृत अर्पण करना चाहिये एवं फिर ब्राह्मण को दे देना चाहिये! इस से मनुष्य कभी रोगी नहीं होता! 

२--द्वितीया तिथि को पूजन करके भगवती जगदम्बा को चीनी का भोग लगावे और ब्राह्मण को दे दे! 

३-- तृतीया के दिन भगवती की पूजा में दूध की प्रधानता होनी चाहिये एवं पूजन के उपरान्त वह दूध ब्राह्मण को देना उच्चित है! यह सम्पूर्ण दुखों से मुक्त होने का एक परम साधन है! 

४--चतुर्थी के दिन मालपूआ का नैवेद्य अर्पण किया जाय और फिर वह योग्य ब्राह्मण को दे दिया जाय! इस अपूर्व दानमात्र से ही किसी प्रकार के विघ्न सामने नहीं आ सकते! 

५--पंचमी तिथि के दिन पूजा करके भगवती को केला भोग लगाये और वह प्रसाद ब्राह्मण को दे दे; ऐसा करने से पुरुष की बुद्धि का विकास होता है! 

६-- षष्ठी तिथि दिन देवी के पूजन में मधु का महत्त्व बताया गया है! वह मधु ब्राह्मण अपने उपयोग में लें! इसके प्रभाव से साधक सुन्दर होता है! 

७--सप्तमी तिथि के दिन भगवती की पूजा में गुड का नैवेद्य अर्पण करके ब्राह्मण को देना चाहिये! ऐसा करने से पुरुष शोकमुक्त हो सकता है! 

८--अष्टमी तिथि के दिन भगवती को नारियल का भोग लगाना चाहिये! फिर नैवेद्य रूप वह नारियल ब्राह्मण को दे देना चाहिये! इसके फलस्वरुप उस पुरुष के पास किसी प्रकार के संताप नहीं आ सकता! 

९--नवमी तिथि के दिन व्हागावती को धान का लावा अर्पण करके ब्राह्मण को देना चाहिये! इस दान के प्रभाव से पुरुष इस लोक और परलोक में भी सुखी रह सकता है!
